Day 4 : Patterdale to Bampton

Radio silence.

Steve must be unable to get a phone signal tonight since I have not received a message. We’ll have to just wait and see what happened.

  1. They got to Bampton ok – and so did we, except we were in the car – that’s Eunice, Eileen, Len and me. Thought we would surprise the the intrepid explorers with a waiting pint (their ETA was 5:30ish)for but at 5:00pm they were already there all smiley and fine – apart from being hot and smelly!! A few pints and a very meal and left ‘em to it at 9:00 for the drive home.
