Steve and Steff's Honeymoon trek

I'm going to be skint.

We were wandering around Ambleside this weekend. What news! Field and Trek has burnt down, prices are still going up in Gaynors, Steffi bought a new sleeping bag from The Mountain Factor and I have agreed to sponsor Steff a pound for every cattle grid she walks across.
When she was a kiddie, she got her foot stuck in a cattle grid while watching a car coming towards her. I’m sure it would have looked funny on a black and white Harold Lloyd film, but Steff is now scared stiff of crossing them. Since offering a quid a crossing, she’s getting very good at it. I’m sure that there are more than just one or two between St Bees and Robin Hood. This might cost me a fortune.

The Outdoors Station

Got to thank Bob for announcing our wanderings on the latest (14/4/08) Outdoor Station Podzine. I know that there are lots of people listening to this podcast, so with any luck, we’ll get some more interest.
